Some of the quilts people make are so colorful and brilliant – and isn’t it amazing that these kinds of work are being done by hand in these times when we don’t have the patience for much simpler things.

I don’t have the temperament for quilting but I certainly love the results my friends achieve. It is even more amazing to know many people still sew all their work by hand as the pioneers did. Holy Cow!!! I’ll stick to my paint brush.
