Hi Colleen
I do not use any stabilizer with a handkerchief for hand embroidery – those are very small designs and if you use small thin needles there wouldn’t be holes or puckering (for machine embroidery-yes)

Question: When embroidering handkerchiefs, do you just embroider on the handkerchief cloth or is it supported with a wash away interfacing?
